Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Zoem. By using the platform or placing an order you confirm that you are an adult and that it is lawful for you to purchase the products offered. We may ask you to verify your age and may refuse or cancel any order where we cannot reasonably confirm it.
Account & orders
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, including your contact and delivery details, and for keeping your sign-in secure. When you place an order you are making an offer to buy; the order is accepted once we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order - for example where stock is unavailable, details cannot be verified, or we suspect misuse.
Pricing & availability
Prices are shown in South African Rand and include applicable charges shown at checkout. Products and prices may change, and items may sell out. While we work to keep listings accurate, errors can occur; if we discover a material pricing error on your order we will contact you before charging or dispatching it.
Payment
Payment is processed through our payment provider at checkout. By paying you authorise the charge for your order total, including any delivery and service fees disclosed before you confirm. We do not store your full card details.
Delivery
We deliver within the areas shown at checkout, through our delivery partner. Estimated times are indicative and not guaranteed. You, or an adult at the delivery address, must be available to receive the order and may be asked to confirm age on delivery. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Zoem if you are under 18;
- resell any products bought through the platform;
- provide false information or order on behalf of a minor; or
- use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts it.
Limitation of liability
Zoem is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the value of the order to which the claim relates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and continued use of Zoem after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Email us at contact@zoem.co.za.
